What is Sheet Metal Fabrication? Sheet metal fabrication refers to transforming flat metal sheets into shapes and structures. Rather than looking at it as a single process, the sheet metal processing methods involve using a collection of forming techniques, working in tandem, and producing the required part.  Metal fabrication  is used extensively in the automotive, aerospace, and construction industries. Sheet metal manufacturing works with a range of metals.
